MiCANNES?

Basically, anyone that is involved with the music industry - but more specifically:

* musicians (artists and songwriters)

* music producers and production companies

* record labels

* music publishers

* artist managers

* live music agents

* lawyers and accountants

* entrepreneurs

* journalists

We are a group of like minded music industry professionals, who attended Midem in Cannes for many years, and intend to continue to attend a new music conference in Cannes from 2022 on. Look forward to seeing you in Cannes in June 2024!

Since 1967, the international music conference known as “Midem” was held in Cannes. Many music industry giants “cut their teeth” internationally at Midem over many years, such that Cannes became part of the regular music business international events.

In 2021, however, the Midem conference was cancelled. A group of music biz stalwarts decided to “carry on” in Cannes in any event, to keep the tradition alive. Hence MiCANNES was born. Midem has now been acquired by the Cannes Mairie who re-opened it as Mid3m from 24-27 January 2024.

MiCannes has a small registration fee (please note early bird tickets!) to attend. Please register ASAP to get the best price and to ensure entry!

There will be a number of ticketed and sponsored events, such as showcases, screenings, cocktail parties, lunches and dinners which you can contribute to and attend, although some will be subject to invitation only.
